Profile: IECA Region One is a non-profit, professional organization providing education, networking, and research for engineers, government, consultants, construction and related professionals, for the purpose of establishing standards of practice and expertise in the fields of erosion control, sediment control and stormwater management.

 

The 2019 IECA Annual Conference and Expo was held in Denver, February 19 - 22. There three new officers were elected: Rafael Araujo as membership vice president, Mark Myrowich, CPESC, CISEC as international development vice president and Dylan Drudul, CPESC as marketing vice president. IECA's Southeast Chapter teamed up with the EPA Region Four to host their sixth annual Municipal Wet Weather Stormwater Conference on May 20-22 in Greenville, S.C.

The IECA Mountain States Regional Conference was held on November 14 and 15 in Denver. The Auburn University Erosion and Sediment Control Installer Training took place on November 20 and 21 and a Field Day on November 22. The 2020 IECA Manitoba Winter Seminar will be on January 24 In Winnipeg.
