Soil scientist Virginia K. Brown shares with the International Erosion Control Association (IECA) how addressing stormwater management via soil restoration done before or alongside initial construction phases on a solar farm project can facilitate efficient installation in addition to reducing the erosion solar farms are particularly prone to. Brown suggests aligning civil work, construction deadlines, and seeding work for optimal results. To read more, go to: https://news.ieca.org/here-comes-the-sun

Chris Bogdan, a green stormwater infrastructure manager, shared separately with IECA about new innovative breakwater structures that mimic natural structures and are built with PH-neutral materials that allow marine life like mollusks and coral to grow safely on the surface.
