The Irrigation Foundation is continuing to advance water efficient efforts by hosting the annual Water Resources and Congressional Summit.

The foundation partnered with the National Ground Water Association and the Water Quality Association for a summit with more than 30 meetings scheduled.

Members were invited to share their personal experiences with irrigation systems and supported water infrastructure, and the WaterSense program, which is sponsored by the EPA and promotes the use of water efficient products.

IA members met with House of Representatives speaker Paul Ryan's senior advisor on natural resource issues. Following the meeting, members attended presentations on water resource issues and the federal budgetary climate.

After the summit concluded, members took their stories and the industry's policy recommendations to their representatives' offices.
