IECA Upcoming COVID-19 Webinars

Time Change this Thursday

Stormwater permitting and future-proofing erosion control businesses during the ongoing crises will be addressed in two upcoming seminars.

The International Erosion Control Association is presenting a two-part webinar on thriving and future-proofing your business during the crisis and others that might follow. Part one will be this Thursday, April 23 at 10:30 pm, MDT, which is a new time for the session. Part two will be at 12:45 pm MDT on Thursday, April 30. In these webinars, green industry business specialist Judy Guido will team up with representatives from the IECA to discuss how great leaders grow great people and great companies regardless of the market conditions by focusing on the fundamentals, eliminating obstacles and executing strategy in the face of panic. There will be a 1 PDH continuing education credit for the course. It is free to members, $65 to nonmembers and group watch is available.

Another session, a peer-to-peer discussion, is titled COVID-19 Stormwater Permitting and Compliance Monitoring. That includes a live event on Tuesday, April 28 at 1:00 pm, EDT. This will address how stormwater permitting and compliance monitoring has been impacted from COVID-19, which is "having a significant global impact on the health and economic welfare of citizens. These events have directly impacted the normal practices and operations of regulatory agencies and the construction industry throughout the United States." IECA and Burns & McDonnell are co-hosting the virtual panel discussion with four specialists representing stormwater permitting, compliance monitoring, regulatory review, and onsite BMP installation. The discussion promises to focus on how stormwater permitting, agency review, BMP installation and compliance monitoring have been impacted by COVID-19. There will also be a 1 PDH continuing education credit available. The cost is free to members, $65 to nonmembers, and group watch is available.
