The IECA, a non-profit member organization for erosion and sediment control professionals, has announced that submissions are being accepted for their annual photo contest.

The International Erosion Control Association has announced submissions are being accepted for their annual photo contest, which gives the opportunity to gain visibility and share your accomplishments with the erosion and sediment control community.

Contest categories are as follows:
• Before and After: one before and one after a BMP is implemented
• Impacts of Erosion and Sediment: degree of environmental impact and degree of social impact
• Technology in Action: identification of technology and degree of action

Entries will be displayed on the IECA website and enlarged to be showcased at Environmental Connection, IECA's annual conference and expo. The deadline to submit is January 5, 2015.

Preliminary voting will take place on IECA's Facebook page by liking or commenting on your favorite images. Final voting of the top five will take place at Environmental Connection 2015. Ribbons will be awarded to the first, second and third place winners of each categories.
