Horticulture Scholarships Available for Students
Supporting Future Generations

The Horticultural Research Institute of The AmericanHort Foundation is now accepting scholarship applications for the 2019-2020 school year. HRI's seven endowment funds, totaling almost $20,000, will provide aid to students pursuing a career in the green industry.

The seven scholarships are:
• The Bryan A. Champion Memorial Scholarship
• The Carville M. Akehurst Memorial Scholarship
• The "Muggets" Scholarship
• The Spring Meadow Scholarship
• The Susie & Bruce Usrey Scholarship
• The Timothy S. and Palmer W. Bigelow, Jr. Scholarship
• The Usrey Family Scholarship

Materials required for submission include: general contact information, statement of financial need, personal essay, resume, transcripts, and two recommendation letters. Awards will be sent directly to the recipient's school in the fall.
