The Green Industry Hall of Fame held their annual awards dinner and ceremony on Star Wars Day (May 4) where eight outstanding contributors to the field were presented with membership in the organization formed by Richard and Marcie Daigle, and Charles Nunley with the mission "To honor and preserve the contributions of those exceptional individuals who have served the green industry." To qualify for the Hall of Fame, the inductees had to have been a landscape professional for at least 20 years, be nominated by a fellow professional, and exhibit qualities such as integrity, self-sacrifice, mentoring, educating and a passion for the profession that has resulted in positive changes within the industry.Landscape Communications would like to extend our congratulations to this year's eight inductees: Andy Bowden, FASLA, PLA; Tom Donnelly; Rose Epperson; Steve Hazzard; David House; Stephanie Landregan, FASLA; Robert Starr, PE; and Thomas House (posthumously). The inductees were each introduced by a green industry colleague who attested to their commitment and contributions to the business. Mark Pedicone (Green Industry Hall of Fame 2015) was the master of ceremonies for the evening.
