Give this Tuesday!
Amid the season of giving, landscape architecture associations from across the industry are jumpstarting Giving Tuesday with challenges that lead to generous donations.
The American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) Fund is asking for donations to fund initiatives like the advancement of the Climate Action Plan, student career programs, scholarships, the Licensure Advancement Program, and more.
The ASLA Maryland Chapter established the L.A.R.E. Support Fund to assist aspiring professionals overcome the financial challenges that budding professionals face. The chapter is asking for donations which can be made here or at the Holiday Party. Further, the Landscape Architecture Foundation (LAF) asks for donations to fund actions like research opportunities or student scholarships. Donations can be made here.
Lastly, the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) is looking to grow the profession and subsequent parks and recreation departments. The association is accepting donations here.
In conclusion, whatever you chose to promote through donations, give to promote the industry.
