Five students from the University of Georgia and Tennessee State University were awarded for their presentations at the Bryson L. James Student Competition. The competition took place during the 62nd Annual Southern Nursery Association (SNA) Research Conference and was sponsored by Bennett's Creek Wholesale Nursery, and Lancaster Farms. It is open to any student of a university or college with researchers participating in the SNA Research Conference. Students cannot be more than one year past graduation and their research must have been completed prior to graduation. Judging is divided into three categories: Ph.D., M.S. and B.S. Awards are presented based on written and oral presentations. First place winners received $500 each, second place winners $300 and third place winners $200. Research presented at the SNA Conference will be published in the annual "SNA Research and Conference Proceedings," which will be available on the SNA website here. (https://www.sna.org/)
