Federal Housing Administration Increases 2023 Loan Limits
New Loan Amounts Take Effect January 1 by Staff

The Federal Housing Administration announced that the federal loan floor for 2o23 will increase by 10.8%.
As reported by the National Association of Home Builder (NAHB), the Federal Housing Administration (FHA) announced their loan limits for 2023. The administration announced that the single-family home loan floor will increase by $51,350. Additionally, the loan ceiling will increase by $118,500 next year.
The FHA's official numbers for 2023 are as follows: for single-family homes the floor is set at $472,030 and the ceiling is $1089,300; for two-unit homes the floor is $604,400 and the ceiling is $1,394,775; for three-unit homes the floor is $730,525 and the ceiling is $1,685,850; and for four-unit homes the floor is $907,900 and the ceiling is $2,095,200.
The new loan limits will take effect on January 1, 2023.
