The Ravine - Memphis, TN

The Ravine is a gathering place for the Edge District with an open front door to all residents and visitors of Downtown Memphis. The linear nature of the Ravine enables a flexible destination for a multitude of activities, including active and passive interaction and solitude. The Ravine is under construction with a scheduled Phase 1 completion of late 2021.

Brookdale Dogwood Creek - Germantown, TN
Brookdale Dogwood Creek (formerly Solana Senior Living) provides independent living, assisted living and a memory care facility. DT design|studio created a series of outdoor amenity spaces to provide recreational opportunities and outdoor gathering spaces. The large central courtyard includes bocce ball, a putting green, garden plots, outdoor gathering spaces, an event lawn, a performance plaza and extensive landscaping.

Bobby Lanier Farm Park - Germantown, TN
Located on 10 acres in the middle of Germantown, TN, Bobby Lanier Farm is a new model of park for the suburban municipality. Formerly a dairy farm and horse boarding facility, the city sought to take advantage of the site's agricultural roots and create a park that focused on agriculture and education. Led by DT design|studio, the master plan process included a series of public input workshops, public presentations, and ultimately a master plan and planning booklet that reflect the vision of the community and city. Elements of the park include community gardens, a kitchen garden, a restored orchard, restored barns, an event lawn, crop production area, compost facility, and rental facilities.

Hinton Park - Collierville, TN
Hinton Park serves as an important community and environmental asset for the Town of Collierville. Elements of the design include multi-purpose athletic fields, flexible use lawn areas, a wetland mitigation garden, stream enhancement, passive recreation areas, playground, performance lawn, wildflower meadows, an extensive trail network to provide circulation throughout the park, and connections to the adjacent residential community. A major feature of the 150-acre passive park was the establishing of native grass and wildflower meadows for the quickly declining grassland bird habitat in West Tennessee and North Mississippi.
