The Parks Issue of Landscape Architect & Specifier News saw many firms submit their projects for feature consideration. This project was not chosen for a Feature in the issue, but we at LandscapeArchitect.com thought the project deserved to be showcased online . . .
DTJ Design, Inc. completed a 15,840-square-foot dog park focused on creating a safe, engaging, and social space for dogs of all breeds and sizes. They selected ForeverLawn East Valley to provide and install the synthetic grass used at the facility. This team consisted of Scott Hamel, Wyatt Anderson, Curtis Kleinman, and Tyler Kleinman, collaborating with Reggie Plett from ForeverLawn Oasis to bring the vision to life. Haydon Building Corporation acted as the general contractor for the project. The park features agility equipment to keep dogs active, along with shaded areas for cooling off during warmer days. Every aspect of the environment has been carefully planned to ensure dogs can play, explore, and interact in a scenic and natural setting.
