WY Governor Signs LA Licensure Board Amendment Act into Law
On March 9, Wyoming Governor Mark Gordon signed into law SF-0113 The Architects Practice Act - Amendments Bill. See the full text here (https://wyoleg.gov/Legislation/2023/SF0113). ASLA Colorado, with other professional associations, has been working with the board to develop this bill and advocated for its passage during the last year or so. https://www.aslacolorado.org/download/11266/?tmstv=1681178176

Vivian Kovacs Receives Phil Flores Medallion
On October 11, 2023, ASLA Colorado Vice President of Government Affairs, David Sprunt presented Vivian Kovacs (recently retired from Landscape Forms) with the Phil Flores medallion. The medallion is ASLA Colorado's highest honor for exemplary service and friendship. Kovacs was unable to attend the Awards Event on August 31 due to an automobile accident. Colorado 2023 Awards
The ASLA Colorado Chapter presented 23 Professional Design Awards, ten academic awards for four University of Colorado Denver and six Colorado State University landscape architecture students, and several individual recognition awards at the Chapter's Annual Gathering and Awards Event held at Space Gallery.
