The Council of Landscape Architectural Registration Boards (CLARB) announced a major update to their administration process for the L.A.R.E. The change will be effective as of the April 2022 administration.

 
CLARB's test partner will be changing from Pearson VUE to PSI. The new test partner will change test center locations, the appointment booking website and exam functionalities will change.

Beginning with the April 2022 administration, candidates that have previously tested should pay attention to several things including white board and calculator policies and breaks during the exam.

White boards will no longer be permitted for use during the exam but every exam, both in person and online will have a whiteboard tool built into the exam screen for use virtually. Calculators will be offered the same way. When taking a break during the exam, candidates will no longer be able to go back to previous questions from prior to the break period.

The Orientation Guide was updated to reflect all of the changes to the policy.
