Bertog Landscape Co., a full-service landscape design, landscape construction and landscape maintenance firm based in Wheeling, Illinois, announced the hiring of Robert Milani as a senior landscape architect.

 
In his new role, Milani will be responsible for directing innovative design solutions and fostering new business development for the firm, which provides services for residential and commercial projects throughout the Chicago area.

A longtime landscape industry leader, Milani is one of the few Illinois Certified Nursery Professionals to be named "Pro of the Year" and is the recipient of multiple accolades and awards from the Illinois Landscape Contractors Association (ILCA) for design/construction and maintenance. In addition, he is recognized for his work and industry leadership by the Illinois Green Industry Association and the National Association of Landscape Professionals (NALP). As a trusted and knowledgeable professional, Milani is a frequently-featured source and contributor across print, digital and television media.

Prior to joining Bertog Landscape Co., Milani served for nearly 20 years as senior landscape architect at Chalet in Wilmette and North Chicago, Illinois, where he led teams of designers, construction supervisors and crews. Beyond his professional positions, he has given his time to the industry as a pro bono coordinator for the University of Illinois Heritage Garden that celebrates the works of green industry professionals from within the state.
