Built on more than 100 years of combined experience, Catalyst opened its doors in August 2017 when our four founding principals came together to build upon a shared vision: that there is a better approach to design collaboration. From initial due diligence and entitlement phases until the final construction punch list is complete, our mission is to understand each of our clients' needs and develop creative solutions that achieve their aesthetic and functional goals.

Apex Glassworks, Nashville, TN
Construction of the Apex Glassworks multifamily development includes two new four-story residential buildings on an eight-acre site. Catalyst provided civil engineering and landscape architectural design services for the complex, which adds 282 units to Nashville's Metro Center area. Catalyst designed a vast pool courtyard space that includes lounge seating, firepits, and two passive green spaces for dog walking and outdoor dining. The team also coordinated stormwater permitting through the city, state and USACE for stream relocation and buffer variances.

Bento, Nashville, TN
Bento Box LLC is a development, lifestyle and building company that believes in delivering products that enable individuals to live a small footprint and convenience-oriented lifestyle. Bringing this new concept to Nashville, Bento's flex-stay community offers fully furnished nightly stays, extended stays, corporate housing, and long-term living, all within a creative neighborhood vibe in close proximity to downtown. In addition to its 89 micro-units, Bento includes 4,000 SF of retail, a 5,500-square-foot restaurant, athletic club, rooftop bar/patio (The Chestnut), marketplace (Bento Bodega), and a unique compact automated parking structure.

Hilton Nashville Green Hills - Residence Inn by Marriott, Nashville, TN
This combined-flag hotel serves the booming Green Hills neighborhood as a premier hospitality destination. The new 210-guest room Hilton hotel and 118-suite Residence Inn features high-end site amenities, dining and retail shopping, along with meeting and event spaces. The development features two amenity pools, including a rooftop pool and bar that offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape. The arrival motor court is distinguished with an amenity fountain and high-end plaza elements, with outdoor dining areas that activate the streetscape. The project was awarded the 2019 Hilton New Build Hotel of the Year for the Americas Region (US and Canada).

Kedron Square, Spring Hill, TN
Located on a historic 107-acre site, the Kedron Square mixed-use development introduces a new town center for Spring Hill. Once complete (est. 2030), Kedron Square will serve as a focal point within the Old Town district and offer a Live/Work/Play environment including retail, restaurant, corporate office, hospitality, multifamily, and for-sale residential options. Designed as a walkable community, the development includes sidewalks, bike lanes, multi-use trails and roadway improvements, as well as the preservation of the existing 7-acre lake and 10.9 acres of usable park space.
