This custom, immersive marine-themed playground was designed by national multi-disciplinary firm Kimley-Horn.

The Playgrounds Issue of Landscape Architect and Specifier News saw many firms submit their projects for feature consideration. Carol Fox Park is one of several great projects we are excited to showcase on LandscapeArchitect.com.

Jersey Village, Texas, is home to just over 8,000 residents - many of whom have lived in the community for more than two decades. When the Jersey Village Parks and Recreation Department set out to update Carol Fox Park, they knew the new playground needed to be unique. The team designed a giant, climbable kraken, gradually bringing to life an immersive, aquatic-themed play experience.
