West Virginia University's Landscape Architecture Program in Danger of Discontinuation

The discontinuation of the landscape architecture programs in West Virginia University are pending the Board of Governors approval on September 15.

The Maryland Chapter of the ASLA released the following announcement and call to action regarding the pending discontinuation of West Virginia University's landscape architecture program:

At this moment, the BSLA Landscape Architecture, MLA Landscape Architecture, and BS in Environmental and Community Planning degrees at West Virginia University are recommended to be discontinued, pending Board of Governors approval on September 15, 2023.

Your action is needed by noon Thursday, August 17! We are collecting signatures and letters of support in opposition to the landscape architecture program being discontinued.
