ASLA to Rebroadcast "Drawing Matters: Exploring the Value of Drawing in Landscape Architecture"

1.5 PDH (LA CES-non-HSW)

A free webinar for all ASLA members ($50 for nonmembers) will delve into the value of project drawings.

On April 29, from 2 - 3 p.m. EDT, the American Society of Landscape Architects will rerun their presentation that studies the proposition that hand drawing still matters in our digital world.

In the words of the association, "Rather than the familiar debate over digital versus hand graphics, this session explores the value of drawing as a process connected to seeing, thinking, and engaging throughout design."

Led by Kona A. Gray, FASLA, principal at EDSA, Michael Batts, ASLA, LEED AP, practice leader | landscape architecture, at STEWART and David C. Malda, ASLA, LEED AP, principal at Gustafson Guthrie Nichol, the objectives of the educational seminar are to learn how you can use drawing to connect cultures, generations, and disciplines, explore how drawing can help you investigate sites in new ways, identify and explore perceptions and challenges to drawing in contemporary practice and learn how drawing and thinking translate across media and technology.
This webinar is free for all ASLA members. The non-member price is $50. Log in to ASLA Online Learning with your ASLA username and password for the member price.
