A COVID Update from the National League of Cities

Resources to Help Us Through This

Following is a message from Joe Buscaino, the president of the National League of Cities:

"The severity of the COVID-19 pandemic continues to intensify. Over the weekend, President Trump extended social distancing orders through the end of April in accordance with the guidance of public health experts.

Our local health, safety, and economic resources are under significant strain as we address the immediate needs of our residents. At the same time, we are also planning for the mid- and long-term support that our communities will need.

Below, you will find resources to help you navigate these challenges, including webinars on keeping essential services moving and getting vulnerable households online, best practices on addressing healthcare shortages and shelter in place orders, and NLC's newly updated COVID-19 website with the latest updates from federal, state, and private sector partners.
