The 2022 U.S. Play Coalition will be held in-person for the first time since 2019. It will take place in Clemson, South Carolina.

 
The overall theme, "The NATURE of PLAY," a play on words, allows for a broad interpretation for presenters. This conference will take place on April 2 through 6, 2021 and explore play across the lifespan and address universal issues of health, education, access, equity, inclusion, design and more.

This three-day event includes keynote and featured speakers, round tables on critical issues and trends, a research symposium for academics, educational sessions for practitioners, PLAYtalks and PLAYinstitutes, networking, EPIC play breaks and more.

Session themes include Education and Play, Health, Recreation and Play, Nature Based and Outdoor Play, Multi/Intergenerational and Adults at Play, Designing for Play, to name a few.
