Genesee and Katherine Craig Mountain Park - Park and Trail Improvement Plan, City and County of Denver Parks and Rec
The Denver Mountain Park system, constructed between 1912 and 1941, is a significant series of interconnected foothill and mountain parks planned by landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted Jr. In 2013, Mountain Parks celebrated its 100th anniversary. Genesee was the first acquired park. RPA's landscape architects led the programming and master plan development for this historic 100 year-old mountain park. The plan set the long-term vision and phasing for restoration, site and trail development, management and economics.
