ASLA Issues Statement on Legislation by
The House of Representatives passed the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, the $1.2 trillion infrastructure bill that had been passed by the Senate in mid-August. Having been approved by the House, the bill was then presented to the President, who is expected to sign it. With the news of it passing, the CEO of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA), Torey Carter-Conneen, issued a statement in which he applauded the legislation's passing. He specifically highlighted that the bill incorporated 13 recommendations from the association's "transportation, water, and natural resources infrastructure recommendations," sent in a letter to the House, Senate, and White House.
