Sand Guard was designed to be the most innovative bunker lining material on the market. Sand Guard is a pour-in-place material that is mixed on-site and applied as a single, monolithic pour. The rubber content allows it to flex with the bunker floor and eleviate club damage in the event of an accidental grounding of a club.
Because it is mixed on-site, there is minimum disruption of course play and no need for heating of material or to bring cement trucks onto the course. One inch of Sand Guard applied directly on golf course bunker floors guards them for years with a solid, seamless liner. It is more permeable than other non-geotextile liners - drains faster, keeps bunkers playable.
