PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Seed Box is a 2' to 3' tall native perennial that features 3/4" wide flowers with 4 bright yellow petals growing from alternate leaf axils. Seed Box is a wetland plant, requiring medium to wet soils and full sun sites. It is sometimes called Rattle-box in reference to the four sided seed capsule that, after drying, rattles when shaken. Seed Box is a good garden plant for edges of water features or other damp sites and is used in wetland restoration and wildlife habitat. The plant is reported as a larval host plant for the Banded Sphinx Moth.
