Leif Dickinson has his BS in Agriculture from the University of Maine, and his AS in Horticulture from Mt San Antonio College. He is an ISA Certified Arborist, a Certified Irrigation Technician, a Certified Backflow Tester and a Licensed California Landscape Contractor with his PCL License. He worked at the Santa Anita Park in Arcadia Calif, from 1993 to 2002 as Superintendent of Grounds and Turf Racing. At present, he is Superintendent of Grounds and Turf Racing at Del Mar Thoroughbred Club Del Mar Calif. In addition, he was the Santa Anita Park Host for 1993 and 2002 Breeders Cups World Thoroughbred Championships, and does consulting for the Del Mar Thoroughbred Club, the Del Mar Horse Park, the Hollywood Park at Inglewood, Calif., the Lone Star Park Dallas, Texas, the Golden Gate Fields San Francisco, Calif., and the Palm Meadows Thoroughbred Training Center Boynton Beach, Florida. He undertook all testing, design and installation for the current Turf Track at Santa Anita Park regarded as one of the best turf surfaces in the United States..
