Workshop On Drip Irrigation

Edmonds Floretum Garden Club in Edmonds, Washington will have five Saturday Workshops on May 14, from 10 a.m.- noon. It will be located at the Coldwell Banker Bain Community Room at 108 5th Ave. S. in Edmonds.

Jeff Thompson will speak on ''Proper Watering & Low Volume Drip Irrigation Systems,'' including raised-bed irrigation, and will provide a demonstration of drip irrigation. Thompson is an Edmonds Community College Horticulture Instructor, as well as a longtime landscaper. He has supervised the propagation of over 5,000 tomato plants for the yearly Master Gardener plant sale. A $2 donation is requested.
