Spring Conference | Madison, WI
This year, WI ASLA hosted our Spring Conference in Madison, which was packed with a diverse range of education sessions, a lively vendor expo, and great opportunities for networking. An inspiring keynote from TEN X TEN kicked off the event. Other education session highlights include inclusive park design, funding outdoor learning environments, measuring landscape performance, preventing plant disease problems, and design that supports mental health.

Professional Awards
Professional award winners were announced at the Jensen-Longenecker and WI ASLA Awards Banquet at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. It was great to come together for this awards ceremony to celebrate the achievements of students and professionals in Wisconsin. Thanks to the UW-Madison Department of Planning and Landscape Architecture (DPLA) for their partnership in this event. Award winners are as follows:

Each year, senior students from the landscape architecture department are nominated by their instructors to present about their academic careers to a jury of professionals from WI ASLA. We wish them all the best in their future endeavors.

Park(ing) Day | Madison, WI
The WI ASLA Emerging Professionals hosted Park(ing) Day on the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus. This year's theme was "Pollinator Places" so the group spent the day educating the public about pollinator communities, their habitats and how to create thriving ecosystems for them through landscape architecture and everyday practices.
Fall Field Session | Milwaukee, WI
Our Fall Field Session event continued this year, highlighting the city of Milwaukee. We started with a manufacturing tour at Wagner, followed by visits to Green Bay Playfield, Lakeshore State Park, the Discovery World E-Cacia Tree, and Northwestern Mutual Community Park Playground.
ASLA National Conference | Minneapolis, WI
Our Chapter had an impressive turnout at the National Conference on Landscape Architecture this year. The LABash Block Party provided an opportunity for our members to connect with University of Wisconsin-Madison students and alumni.
