According to a report by the National Pest Management Association (NPMA) the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP) recently adopted revisions to the state's current pesticide rules. The revisions will go into effect June 1st. Revisions will update current rules related to structural pesticide applications, including rules related to perimeter barrier applications and application notices; provide minimum requirements for the installation and use of urban pesticide misting systems; and establish labeling requirements for rodenticide bait stations that are set out by commercial applicators, which often are placed outdoors in areas that are accessible to animals and the public.
