Winfield Solutions, LLC, based out of Minnesota and owned by the Land O'Lakes brand, supports product categories, which include fertilizers, fungicides, herbicides, insecticides, micronutrients, turf seed and pest control products.

Hoping to strengthen their presence in the Northeast, Winfield Solutions, LLC, a distributor of golf, lawn and sports turf, ornamental, pest control, aquatics and vegetation management products, recently signed an agreement to acquire Matrix Turf Solutions, LLC, whose primary focus is turf and ornamental.

Matrix Turf Solutions, LLC., based in Syracuse, N.Y., services the states of New York, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Vermont, Connecticut, New Hampshire and New Jersey. Winfield has 80 service centers across the country and more than 75 sales representatives in golf course management, lawn and sports turf management, pest control, aquatics, ornamental and vegetative management markets.

Winfield also recently announced it has entered into a purchase agreement for the acquisition of Wilco-Winfield JV, which primarily services the turf and ornamental segments in the Pacific Northwest. Both acquisitions are scheduled to be completed by September 30, 2013 and are subject to customary closing conditions.
