Weed Man USA Makes Top Franchise List

The landscape franchisor topped over $73 million in sales in 2014, a 17.6 percent increase over the previous year, and is experiencing a 15 to 20 percent sales increase this year with a planned addition of 56 new franchise territories.

Forbes Magazine's recently released listing of America's Best Franchises included landscape company Weed Man USA.

The company, which has been awarding franchises since 2000 and presently has them in more than 445 territories throughout the U.S., landed in the "under an initial investment of $150,000" category on the 2015 list.

Compiled by the franchise industry research firm FRANdata, companies were analyzed and ranked by cost of initial investment, five-year growth rates, five-year continuity rates and consistency of ownership. FRANdata also considers the level of franchisee support provided by the franchisor.

In addition to securing a spot on the Forbes list, the franchisor this year was also recognized by Entrepreneur Magazine as one of the top 100 opportunities in the country.
