The leaf blower ban has been a huge debate around the country, as some are calling for an absolute ban. Some cities in the U.S. have already had full or partial bans, supporting the argument that leaf blowers are affecting the economy and air quality. The Outdoor Power Equipment Institute and the National Association of Landscape Professionals are working together to educate the public on the role of leaf blowers and their importance.

On Wednesday at 1:30pm EDT, August 29, a webinar on leaf blower bans will take place. Evan Dackow of Jolly Green Tree, in New York, will share his experiences dealing with leaf blower bans on Long Island. Furthermore, he will discuss his work for solutions and inform landscapers on how to connect with local officials.
