Webinar Description:
As freshwater scarcity becomes an increasingly critical issue both locally and globally, designing landscapes that prioritize water efficiency is more essential than ever. Yet, many professionals still associate low-water landscapes with barren, desert-like aesthetics or limited plant choices such as succulents. This webinar challenges that misconception.

Participants will gain a clear, simplified understanding of the core principles behind water-wise residential landscape design. Through real-world examples and visuals, we'll explore-and take a deep dive into-how to create beautiful, diverse, and low-water landscapes that are both functional and inspiring. The session will also highlight common design and implementation pitfalls, offering practical strategies to avoid them.

By the end of this course, attendees will walk away with a streamlined, actionable approach to designing sustainable landscapes-grounded in proven techniques, supported by step-by-step guidance, and tailored to the realities of professional practice.

Learning Objectives:
1. Gain a foundational understanding of how to preserve freshwater through thoughtful residential landscape design.
2. Discover practical, real-world solutions to maximize water efficiency in landscape development while avoiding common pitfalls.
3. Learn how basic horticultural techniques can support water conservation while promoting healthier plant growth.
