It is the rare landscape contractor who has not recently been forced to do more with less when it comes to watering. Drought conditions in many parts of this country continue to challenge green thumbs, creating a market for innovative irrigation tools.
Rainforest Ecological Sprinklers were designed to lower water consumption even under the most difficult growing conditions. The unique heart-shaped design breaks up water droplets to improve delivery to the root zone, and prevents water from being wasted in pools and run-off.
To combat other water obstacles, the sprinklers operate at low water pressures (20 to 80 psi), and because they are made with one moving part, will never clog.
“Because they can’t clog, the sprinklers ideal for hard water areas and for low-pressure systems like wells,” said Mark Grambart, president and CEO of Contech Enterprises. “They can be used with regular and even high pressure just as well. A lot of nurseries and greenhouses use them to mist very delicate plants and seedlings.”
This sprinkler consumes about 1/3 less than most impact and oscillating sprinklers. The gentle fine rain/mist spray won't damage small plants and seedlings. An even application of water means less runoff. The product has an adjustable coverage from 20 sq. ft. up to 1,900 sq. ft.
The one moving part, Rainforest sprinkler head, will last for years. It operates from 20 psi great for well systems up to 80 psi for commercial use. To learn more about this product, go to www.rainforestsprinklers.com.
