This year's 11th annual International Conference on Bicycling and Walking will bring together a broad base of interest in support of livable communities during the September 5-8, 2000 meeting in Philadelphia.

The traditional core of individuals representing agencies and organizations involved with transportation and traffic engineering, land-use planning, traffic safety and injury prevention, and bike and ped advocacy, has expanded to include new partners from the fields of transportation, environmental health, architecture, law enforcement, and education.

Over 50 workshops, seminars and plenary sessions on the latest in bicycling and pedestrian concepts, programs, planning and design will be offered. In addition, an exhibit area full of products and services for creating bicycle and pedestrian friendly communities will be available at Millenium Hall from a variety of manufacturers and consultants.
