Vortex Aquatic Structures International, a manufacturer and leader in aquatic play landscapes based in Montreal, announces it has opened two new sales and customer service support offices in France, one in Paris, and one in Lyon. These are the first European offices for Vortex.

Managing the new offices is Gilbert Mathot, who has a team of six full-time employees to provide full sales, technical and customer support to customers in France. The team's emphasis is on design and solutions assistance. A full installation team will also be available for provide turnkey solutions.

Mathot believes there's lots of growth potential for aquatic play in France. Mathot previously headed up Pro Urba, a long-standing Vortex distributor.

"Vortex has been present in France for more than 15 years," explains Stephen Hamelin, president of Vortex International. "By opening country-specific offices we are able to better service our customers and respond to local market needs, including regulatory requirements."

In addition to its operations in Montreal, Vortex has regional sales and technical support offices in California, Florida, Michigan and Texas, and Shanghai and Beijing. Vortex reports it has over 5,000 aquatic installations worldwide.
