Viva Las Vegas California Association of Nurserymen The 1999 Western Nursery & Garden Expo was held on October 19-20 at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Nevada. The two day Expo hosted a total of 7,100 attendees including 417 exhibiting firms representing an increase of 60 booths and 104 firms over last year's figures. The 1999 Expo was filled with special events and winners. The California Association of Nurserymen (CAN) Golf Classic Tournament brought 115 golfers together for a day of camaraderie and fun. The team that took home the first place trophy was Central Garden & Pet. At the annual fundraising raffle for the CAN Endowment for Research & Scholarship, Jack Williams of Easy Slide Corporation won $10,000 with his winning raffle ticket. Western Nursery & Garden Expo 2000 will be held October 18 and 19, 2000 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
