Vista's New 1180 COB In-grade Series Features Hot Aiming System for Enhanced Lighting Control
Integrated Chip-On-Board LED Technology Provides High-Performance Distribution of Various Spreads

Vista Architectural Lighting's new 1180 Series In-grade Lights utilize integrated Chip-On-Board LED technology and precision optics. A patent-pending, magnetic hot aiming system lets installers rotate internal tilt optics 360 degrees without opening the fixture.

Vista Architectural Lighting introduced the new 1180 COB In-grade Series featuring two models, the 1185 and 1188. These lights utilize integrated Chip-On-Board LED technology and precision optics to achieve high-performance distributions of various spreads with controlled cutoff.

"The 1180 Series is the result of a survey we did with architectural lighting sales agents in late 2015," said Cruz Pérez, vice president of marketing. "Thirty-seven percent of those individuals surveyed said they'd like to see Vista expand its offering of in-grade products. We took that information and used it to develop the 1180 Series, complete with the kind of features that make it easy to install and adjust."

The 1185 model measures 8" in diameter and 8" in depth, while the 1188 is larger with 12" diameter and 12" depth. Featuring COB LED technology, both models offer four light distributions"?uvery narrow spot, narrow spot, medium flood and wide flood. Outputs range from 800-2000 delivered lumens for the 1185 and 1500-3200 for the 1188. Both models offer color temperatures from 3000K to 5000K.

A ventilated, flow-through design allows cool air to enter and hot air to be exhausted from Rough-in-Section housing, effectively cooling the LED module. The lights' corrugated housing further facilitates cooling while also providing significant load strength, making these recessed in-grades suitable for use in vehicle drive-over applications.
