Three instructors are leading 33 landscape architecture sophomores from Iowa State University down the mighty river from Minnesota to the Gulf.

Landscape architecture students in the Mississippi Traveling Studio A class at Iowa State University are ?EUR??,,????'??rolling down the river,?EUR??,,????'?? as John Fogerty is wont to sing. The river is the Mississippi and it?EUR??,,????'???s a semester class of travel from Itasca, Minn., to New Orleans to study how community designs harmonize with cultural, ecological and geological surroundings. Sounds like a good excuse to play Huck Finn to us, but that?EUR??,,????'???s just because we are ?EUR??,,????'??stuck?EUR??,,????'?? at our desks staring at our iMac screens. We want to play, too!

The instructors report the students have plenty of reading to do as they prepare for the next run?EUR??,,????'??+St. Louis to the Gulf Coast.
