2008 VGIC Activities and Events

In 2007, VGIC was recognized by www.richmond.com as one the Great Richmond areas top 20 nonprofits for its sponsorship of a consumer educational event, the Virginia Garden Festival. Scheduled for September 12th and held at the Science Museum of Va. The 2009 program features Andre Viett?EUR??,,????'?????<

The Council is actively involved in other significant Industry events: The Virginia Agribusiness Council Appreciation Banquet, Arbor Day, and the State Fair Horticulture Gardens; as well as publishes Industry monthly bulletins and for consumers, supplies gardening news releases and monthly gardening articles.
