For those large installation jobs, landscape contractors need wheel loaders that have power, precision and versatility. Volvo Construction Equipment has come out with new L60G, L70G and L90G wheel loaders, the latest in the 13 to 17 tons class.

The midsized machines have patented TP linkage for better breakout and lifting forces, they also remain parallel throughout the lifting range ?EUR??,,????'??+ ensuring load stability. This makes the wheel loaders ideal in material handling jobs and where fast work cycles are needed.

These new machines meet the requirements of the Tier 4i emissions legislation that came into force on January 1, 2012. L60G, L70G and L90G are all fitted with a Volvo 6-liter, 6-cylinder turbocharged V-ACT (Volvo Advanced Combustion Technology) off-highway diesel engine, which features cooled gas recirculation and a particulate filter with active regeneration.

The diesel particulate filter temporarily holds the particulate matter and then incinerates it, further reducing emissions. This process is conducted without any loss of performance or operation. Producing between 161 and 173 hp, depending on the model, these three units provide high torque at low engine speeds.

D6 engine performs well in terms of fuel efficiency, reliability and noise. The production of torque and power at low engine speeds, combined with load-sensing hydraulics, promotes work at a lower rpm. This in turn extends engine life, lowers fuel usage and dramatically reduces noise.

L90G wheel loader also features a 23 percent increase in lifting force and 19 percent improvement in breakout force. The improvement ensures smooth operation and full buckets ?EUR??,,????'??+ resulting in faster cycle times and increased productivity.
