CALABASAS, Calif.?EUR??,,????'???After 24 years in its current Calabasas location, ValleyCrest Companies, the nation?EUR??,,????'???s largest landscape services company, is building a three-acre corporate campus located on adjacent property at 24151 Ventura Boulevard. Developed, owned and built by ValleyCrest Companies, the project broke ground in June, and is scheduled to be completed in summer 2004, coinciding with the firm?EUR??,,????'???s 55th anniversary. Los Angeles architectural firm, Nadel Architects, Inc., designed the building core and shell. CNI of Los Angeles developed the design for the interiors. General contracting services are being provided by Snyder Langston. Bomel Construction is serving as design-build contractor for the parking structure. With its sweeping 360 degree hilltop view on a crest overlooking the Santa Monica Mountains and the San Fernando Valley, the new corporate facility will feature dramatic interiors and a sumptuous landscape. The 80,000 square foot building features a specialized skylight system that highlights a central three-story, 3,500 sq. ft. atrium. The facility will include a conference center, training facility, executive and administrative offices, and media and technology center. The goal is to provide company employees and guests with a beautiful campus in a park-like setting, designed to capture sunlight and feature a front garden and landscaped courtyard to accent the entry. Flowering and nonflowering plant material will be used throughout the project to add color and texture. There will be no cars or parking in the front of the building; automobile traffic will follow a landscaped drive to the rear of the building where a three-story, 273-car parking structure is under construction. ?EUR??,,????'??This building is a milestone for our company,?EUR??,,????'?? said CEO Burton Sperber, who founded the company in 1949. ?EUR??,,????'??We take pride in our strong roots and our history of success. The San Fernando Valley has been our home for 54 years.?EUR??,,????'?? The site has frontage on Ventura Boulevard, providing great visibility and access. The project is located at the west end of Ventura Blvd. near the intersection of the Parkway Calabasas and Ventura Boulevard.
