As part of this transition, Roger Zino will be promoted to CEO, but will remain president of ValleyCrest Landscape Maintenance. Zino joined the company in 2001 and oversees more than 120 maintenance branch offices across the U.S. Maintenance is the company?EUR??,,????'???s largest division. ?EUR??,,????'??For him [Burton S. Sperber, founder of ValleyCrest in 1949] it started and ended with an intense focus on our customers and our people, and that dual focus will never change,?EUR??,,????'?? said Zino. Zino joined ValleyCrest following 10 years in the Los Angeles office of McKinsey & Company as a principal and one of the leaders of the firm?EUR??,,????'???s service operations practice. In earlier years he was a manufacturing planning specialist at Ford and a senior auditor and CPA with Arthur Andersen & Co. Zino has an MBA from the Harvard Business School, holds bachelor?EUR??,,????'???s degrees in accounting and computer science (Georgetown) and is a member of the Urban Land Institute. Andrew Brennan, who began working for ValleyCrest in 2003, has rejoined the company as chief operating officer of ValleyCrest Landscape Companies, effective January 16, 2012. This newly-created position reports to Zino. Previously, Brennan served as chief operating officer of ValleyCrest Landscape Maintenance.
