The new ValleyCrest Corporate Headquarters in Calabasas, California is located on a crest with a 360-degree view of the San Fernando Valley, the Santa Monica Mountains and the Santa Susanna Mountains. The centerpiece of the site will be an 80,000 square foot, 3-story office complex designed around a 3,500 square foot interior atrium. The building and a 273-car parking structure will be linked with pedestrian pathways and plaza areas, botanical gardens, water features and lush landscapes.
Just stroll through the exterior tree-shaded gardens and see a palette of native and ornamental trees and plants with birches, sycamores and oaks to shade the sitting areas. Bubbling fountains add a soothing effect to heighten the sense of serenity. The stone floor in the atrium is antique Yangtze River limestone and granite quarried from China. The walkways, koi pond, fountain and lush tropical plantings include fragrant plumerias, a variety of ferns, mature palms and trees.
As owner and general contractor, ValleyCrest handles pad preparation, site utilities, hardscapes and landscaping, and will oversee a comprehensive scope of site improvements including grading, storm drains, site electrical, sewer, gas, water, data and communication lines plus pavement, stonework, water features, site furnishings, lighting, signage, trees, irrigation and plantings. They will also be creating the landscape of the building's three-story interior atrium. ValleyCrest is the nations largest landscape and site construction company, and clearly this new headquarters will become the premier showcase for their many talents.
