The dinner, consisting of tri-tip beef and BBQ chicken with the ‘fixins’, was highlighted by live country/western music and dancing. This year a horse drawn hayride through the VCTC specimen nursery was a popular addition.

Over 750 landscape architects and guests, representing over 150 firms, attended the Fourth Annual ASLA BBQ hosted by Valley Crest Company July Z5. The menu included tri-tip beef, BBQ chicken and the fixins.

This is an annual event. If you missed it this time keep an eye out for next years BBQ. As those there would tell you it was a great time and place to see old friends and make new friends in a professional yet relaxed atmosphere.

Live country/western music rounded out the country theme of the BBQ. Many guests took advantage of the large dance floor to practice their two-stepping.
