The Pasona Group, a recruitment agency housed in a nine-story office building (by KonoDesigns) in Tokyo, has a fa?????ade of 200 plants, including seasonal flowers and orange trees, planted in three-foot deep balconies.

But wait! Twenty percent of the inside of the building is given over to soil-based and hydroponic farming. The main entrance has a rice paddy, requiring heat lamps and a moister atmosphere than your typical office entry. Leafy greens, tomatoes, squash and papaya are among the edibles growing inside. There are even vegetable vines wrapping around staircases.
