Propane is an EPA Approved Alternative Fuel, which means mowers powered by the fuel may qualify for tax credits being considered by Congress.


Clean Scapes landscaping of Austin, Texas recently spent thousands of dollars to convert their mower fleet to run off of propane, which local media claims costs 30 to 50 percent less per gallon than diesel fuel.
