U.S. architecture firms have been showing signs recently that they may be getting nearer to ending their two-plus year downturn, according to Kermit Baker, AIA Chief Economist. The AIA's Architecture Billings Index score of 46.1 for March is the highest since August 2008, just before the financial market meltdown, and reflects an almost four point increase over the past two months.
ABI needs to continue is upward climb to recover as a profession. When architecture rebounds, it will help the landscape industry to prosper again.
