?EUR??,,????'?????<?In fact, if you have an efficient irrigation system and follow certain guidelines, you can achieve your landscaping goals without high water bills.?EUR??,,????'?????<? For the past two years, CVWD has worked with professional landscapers to study the amount of water needed during over-seeding, when rye grass seed is planted over dormant summertime Bermuda grass.
Using plots of turf at College of the Desert and monitoring and calibrating them, the study determined that watering needs to be increased by no more than 50 percent to produce a healthy winter lawn.
While watering at a higher level gets the grass growing more quickly -- something desired for golf courses and larger developments --???????(R)?EUR??,,????'?EUR??,,?EUR the average homeowner can be patient and can save some money.
