RTF® Sod, HGT® Sod, and RTF+HGT® Sod are premium turfgrass brands produced by licensed members of the Turf Producers Association. Each offers distinct performance advantages for residential lawns, commercial landscapes, sports fields, golf courses, and other high-use turf areas.

RTF Sod is the only tall fescue with true rhizomes. These underground stems help the turf fill in damaged or thin areas with new shoots, creating a dense, self-repairing lawn that helps reduce weed pressure and the need for overseeding. RTF also develops an extensive root system, giving it excellent heat, drought, shade, and traffic tolerance while requiring less water than many traditional cool-season grasses.

HGT Sod, which stands for Healthy Grass Technology, is an advanced Kentucky bluegrass known for exceptional density, disease resistance, and recovery from wear. It is especially well suited for athletic fields, golf courses, and other high-traffic areas where durability, striping quality, and rapid recovery are important.

RTF+HGT Sod combines the best qualities of both brands. It brings together RTF's deep roots, drought tolerance, and self-repairing rhizomes with HGT's dense, resilient, disease-resistant bluegrass performance. The result is a beautiful, durable sod option designed to perform in demanding conditions while helping reduce long-term maintenance inputs.
